Most issues fall into one of the patterns below. Try the quick fix first. If it doesn't help, email support@workingmemory.ai — we read every message.

"I sent a message and nothing happened"

Check your internet connection — load any other site to confirm. If the rest of the internet works, refresh the app (pull down on mobile, or close and reopen).

Longer voice notes can take a few extra seconds to transcribe. Wait thirty seconds before re-sending so you don't end up with duplicates.

If that doesn't help: email support@workingmemory.ai.

"My reminder didn't fire"

Three things to check, in order:

  1. Push notifications are enabled. See Push notifications for the iOS-vs-Android details.
  2. The time and timezone are what you expected. "Tomorrow at 9" resolves against your device's timezone. See Timezones for how that works and how to override it.
  3. The reminder wasn't already moved. If you said "actually move it to Thursday" later, the reminder is now on Thursday — check the new time in your reminder list.

"Voice notes won't transcribe"

Rare. Usual causes:

If text works but voice doesn't, it's local to your mic or browser. If neither works, see the next item.

If that doesn't help: email support@workingmemory.ai.

"I can't log in"

See Email and login for the magic-link checklist (spam folder, sixty-second wait, typos, corporate filters).

If you're stuck on multiple devices at once — say you changed email and the old address is logged in on a phone you no longer have — email support and we'll log everything out from our side.

"The app feels slow"

First thing: hard refresh to clear cached app code. On most browsers that's Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac), or settings → clear cache for this site.

On iPhone, check you're on the installed Working Memory PWA, not a Safari tab. The installed version gets more system resources and is noticeably snappier.

If you have hundreds of notes and slow scrolling is the issue, that's something we'd like to know about. Email support with your account email and roughly how many notes you have.

"My old notes aren't showing up in answers"

The AI uses both meaning and recency. If a relevant note isn't surfacing:

If a note in your history won't surface no matter how you ask, email support with the note and the question that missed it.

"I got charged twice"

Stripe emails a receipt for every charge. Check both receipts first — a subscription renewal and a mid-cycle proration (upgrade, plan change) both produce receipts and can look like duplicates without being one.

If it's actually a double charge — same date, same amount, two card transactions — email support with both receipt numbers and we'll refund the duplicate.

"Something else"
